Case Study; Increasing employee productivity of up to 80% using our lost property app.

When we sat down discussing the early stages of We Found It, we used our hotel experience as an example of how time consuming lost property is not only for housekeeping but for the front desk and porters also. Two years later after initial trials in a handful of properties we were able to use the data gathered to prove that our initial thoughts were in fact correct!

The properties we trialed in initially saw up to 80% in actual time savings of employees when dealing with lost property. This increased productivity now more than ever is so important due to the shortage of skilled workers in the services and hotel industry.

The below example is just for one item, in one of our trial properties over 1100 items were logged in 1 year.

Housekeeping find item and manually logs it into paper diary located on a lower floor.

Guest calls reception inquiring about lost item.

Reception ask porter to go look in lost property store for item, located on a higher floor.

Porter comes back down with item and confirms it is there

Reception calls guest back to inform them that they have item.

Housekeeping snaps a picture of item and leaves in to storage.
